Brendan has been teaching ESL (English as a Second Language) to his many cherished Chinese students for years and these 9-pieces, as a collection, were inspired by his love for them and the country they call home.
 
Modal in nature, the pieces are variations on a central theme. Chinese Suite I offers a progressively harder challenge for the 'late-elementary to beginner' level piano student. I hope you like playing these songs as much as my piano student do!
